Népal, début du XXème siècle, très rare phurbu miniature en bois sculpté comportant trois têtes de divinités surmontées par un tigre, la lame à trois pointes étant décorée de trois serpents stylisés. Le textile ancien sur la prise est destiné à protéger les doigts du lama contre la force du phurbu. Belle patine du bois brun sombre brillante.
Bon état si ce n’est de légères usures d’usages dues à son utilisation et à sa grande ancienneté.
Hauteur 15,5 cm (21 cm avec le socle réalisé sur mesure par son précédent propriétaire).

Nepal, early 20th century, very rare miniature carved wooden phurbu with three heads of deities surmounted by a tiger, the three-pointed blade decorated with three stylised snakes. The antique textile on the grip is intended to protect the llama's fingers from the force of the phurbu. Beautiful dark brown patina.
Good condition apart from slight wear from use and age.
Height 15.5 cm (21 cm with the base made to measure by its previous owner).
