Tibet, XVIIIème siècle, très joli et peu commun sceau bouddhique en bronze décoré en relief d'un des huit symboles bouddhistes -- les Deux Poissons --. La Bannière Bouddhiste est visible autour de son corps. Sous la base du cachet et formant le motif de celui-ci, un autre des huit symboles bouddhistes -- le Noeud Eternel – est sculpté en relief.
Le travail est minutieux et d’une très grande qualité. Ce sceau appartenait forcément à un personnage tibétain très important.
Hauteur 5,4 cm.

Tibet, 18th century, very attractive and unusual bronze Buddhist seal decorated in relief with one of the eight Buddhist symbols -- the Two Pisces --. The Buddhist Banner is visible around its body. Another of the eight Buddhist symbols - the Eternal Knot - is carved in relief below the base of the seal, forming its motif.
The work is meticulous and of the highest quality. This seal must have belonged to a very important Tibetan figure.
