Civilisation du Gandhara, circa IIème siècle ou antérieur, très rare et antique amulette miniature en bronze représentant Bouddha, probablement Amithaba ou Amithayus, tenant le nectar de l'immortalité dans ses deux mains, assis sur deux tigres couchés. La présence des deux tigres est une image inhabituelle et vraiment rare de Bouddha. Un anneau se trouve au sommet de l'amulette pour l'attacher à un collier. Belle patine croûteuse.
Hauteur 41 mm.
Le témoin d’échelle sur la dernière photographie est un petit modèle d’un briquet d’une marque connue de tous.

Gandhara civilization, circa 2nd century or earlier, very rare and antique bronze miniature amulet depicting Buddha, probably Amithaba or Amithayus, holding the nectar of immortality in both hands, seated on two reclining tigers. The presence of the two tigers is an unusual and truly rare image of Buddha. There is a ring at the top of the amulet to attach it to a necklace. Beautiful crusty patina.
Height 41 mm.
The scale indicator on the last photograph is a small model of a well-known brand of lighter.
