Tibet, premier tiers du XXème siècle, intéressant groupe en bronze figurant Yama, divinité terrible à tête taureau à la chevelure hirsute et à la couronne de crânes enlaçant sa parèdre en foulant de ses pieds un personnage et un animal allongés, symbole de l’écrasement des forces du mal. Yama, juge des âmes, est le dieu de la mort et le seigneur des enfers dans le bouddhisme.
Hauteur 26,5 cm.
Le témoin d’échelle sur la dernière photographie est un petit modèle d’un briquet d’une marque connue de tous.

Tibet, first third of the 20th century, interesting bronze group depicting Yama, terrible deity with bull head with shaggy hair and the crown of skulls embracing his partner by scarring with his feet an elongated character and animal, symbol of crushing the forces of evil. Yama, judge of souls, is the god of death and the lord of the underworld in Buddhism.
Height 26.5 cm.
The scale indicator on the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to all.

Presence of a slight greenish oxidation without affecting aesthetics.
