Côte d’Ivoire, peuple Baoulé ou Abron vers 1950, très jolie statue en bois dur à patine brune représentant une femme debout sur un piédestal circulaire, les mains posées sur le ventre dans un geste protecteur et nourricier.
Elle porte un pagne cache-sexe autour de la taille. Son cou annelé et les belles scarifications qui ornent le torse et le visage indiquent une appartenance à une famille de haut rang. Les pieds et les mains sont digités; la coiffure à grosses nattes et l’ensemble reprenant les caractéristiques du corpus Baoulé et lagunaire.
